Kayla Cook

Kayla Cook is  third-year Senior Teacher with Newark Public Schools and is excited to serve as  JAG Specialist. She earned her degree in Biology from Kean University and has developed a strong passion for education, mentorship and helping young people reach their full potential. Ms. Cook is passionate about building positive relationships with students and being someone than can turn to for guidance, encouragement and support. As a JAG Specialist, she looks forward to empowering students to recognize their potential, build confidence and prepare for success in their future and beyond.

Fun Fact: Kayla loves to travel, explore new places and try different foods. She enjoys experiencing new cultures and discovering new things wherever she goes!
