Bio

Mrs. Danielle Arno joined the JAG NJ team in the 2025–2026 school year with the C.A.R.E.S. program at the New Brunswick Adult Learning Center. She began her career in marketing and events before transitioning into jewelry design and creation, and then art education. She later served as both Art Teacher and Assistant Principal at a charter school in Trenton. Originally applying for an art teacher position, Mrs. Arno was introduced to JAG and discovered it to be a meaningful way to combine her backgrounds in business and education.

Her teaching career began in 2003 and has included positions at Emily Fisher Charter School in Trenton, Coastal Learning Center in Morganville, and several leave replacement roles in Newark, South Amboy, East Windsor, and Manalapan. In addition, she founded ArtWorx Events in 2013, a business that hosts on-site paint-and-sip art experiences. She created this venture to balance her career with raising her young family, and it has continued to thrive for over a decade.

Mrs. Arno earned her Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Lehigh University, a Master’s in Art Education and Metalworking from Kean University, and a Post-Master’s Certificate in Educational Leadership from The College of New Jersey. She is also a GIA-certified Gemologist and completed her Alternate Route Teaching Certification through New Jersey City University.

She was drawn to JAG for the opportunity to help students realize their potential while guiding them toward brighter futures.

Fun fact: Danielle regularly fosters kittens and volunteers with Rescue Ridge.
